Walsh, Mary Ellen m. James Aloyius Taylor

See Richard Walsh and Margaret Taplin in Walsh tree.

The following information was posted in a Family Tree at FamilySearch.org (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), a fabulous and free genealogy resource that has a remarkably large amount of information of interest to Newfoundland researchers.

Ancestral File is a collection of genealogical information taken from pedigree charts and family group records submitted to the Family History Department since 1978. The information has not been verified against any official records. Since the information in Ancestral File is contributed, it is the responsibility of those who use the file to verify its accuracy.

“Ancestral File v4.19,” database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.2.1/MWQ4-KZ2 : accessed 5 April 2015), entry for Mary Ellen WALSH.

I originally retrieved the above information in 2011, and since then FamilySearch.org has reorganized their website; so the link no longer works. However, if you create an account (which is free) you will have access to the posted family trees, BUT remember, there is no information on the people who have posted the information.

I re-found the information I needed to support the data above (although I have no idea who posted it or if it is correct) by doing a “Family Tree” search, using the name of James Aloyius Taylor and his death date of 27 March 1972:

Supplemental info on James Aloyius Taylor from the posted family tree:
birth 16 January 1879, Newfoundland, Canada
death 27 March 1972, New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts, United States
